Shaun Goldsbury is BraveTrace's new CEO. With 15 years of experience in the energy industry, including roles at Trust Power and Genesis nergy - where he served as Chief Trading Officer in his most recent tenure, Shaun Goldsbury brings a wealth of expertise on electricity, gas, coal, LPG and carbon markets. Renowned as a subject matter expert in energy trading, portfolio management and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Shaun has

been a supporter of the New Zealand Energy Certificate System (NZECS) since its inception.

His primary objective is to provide strategic direction and leadership to sustain BraveTrace’s exponential growth trajectory. Born and raised in Gisborne, Shaun is of Ngāti Porou and Te Aitanga-ā-Hauiti descent.

The presentation will explain how BraveTrace's New Zealand Energy Certificates (NZ-ECs, aka RECs) can help businesses reduce their reportable electricity emissions and play a role in the acceleration of Aotearoa New Zealand energy transition.
